More Light Media was founded in 2017 by global media leader, editor, writer, storyteller, and journalist — Lori Kozlowski.

To serve the large number of individuals, companies, and organizations that seek to tell stories that move hearts and minds, she founded the creative studio to help others achieve excellence in storytelling. 

With companies, she had led content and editorial teams at Google, Shondaland, the International Fund for Animal Welfare, the City of Los Angeles, and others.

With authors and in the realm of books, Lori has worked with and edited nonfiction, memoir, fiction, and other formats, helping new writers and seasoned ones to shape their manuscripts.

Over the course of her career, Lori served as senior editor at the Los Angeles Times and at Forbes. She founded a digital publication in the music industry, worked with Google on virtual reality stories about human rights and the U.S. prison system. She led global storytelling and content at the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) to reshape how to tell the story of endangered species and biodiversity loss worldwide in the face of global climate change. She served as editorial director at Shondaland, a global television production and media company.  Early in her career, she served as Editor-In-Chief of publications for the City of Los Angeles.

She has worked with MIT Media Lab startups and has taught at Claremont McKenna College, the University of Southern California, Chapman University, Antioch University, among others.

She has written for various national and international publications, and she has received international residencies and grants to work on storytelling projects in Italy, Iceland, France, Sweden, Ireland, and Spain.
