More Light Media was founded in 2017 by editor, writer, journalist, and media leader Lori Kozlowski.
Responding to the large number of individuals, companies, and organizations that seek to tell stories that move hearts and minds, she founded the creative studio to help others to achieve excellence in storytelling.
With authors, Lori has worked with and edited nonfiction, memoir, fiction, and other formats, helping new writers and seasoned ones to shape their manuscripts.
Over the course of her career, Lori served as senior editor at the Los Angeles Times and at Forbes. She founded a digital publication in the music industry, worked with Google on virtual reality stories about human rights and the U.S. prison system. She led global storytelling and content at the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) to reshape how to tell the story of endangered species and biodiversity loss worldwide in the face of global climate change. She served as editorial director at Shondaland, a global television production and media company.
She has worked with MIT Media Lab startups and has taught at Claremont McKenna College, the University of Southern California, and Chapman University.
